芝加哥,2020年5月14日Littelfuse公司 (NASDAQ: LFUS), a global manufacturer of leading technologies in circuit protection, power control and sensing, invites plant engineers, facility managers, and maintenance professionals to join its electrical safety webcast on Thursday, May 28, 2020 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Central Time. Littelfuse will share key findings from its recent survey of approximately 600 people who work on or around electricity. The educational webcast will inform attendees about workers who have experienced electrical shock on the job, the ability to recognize electrical shock hazards, and what can be done to improve electrical shock safety. Professional development credit will be earned by those who attend the webcast.

Attendees will:

  • See the results from the Littelfuse electrical safety survey
  • Understand safety training program blind spots and what can be done to improve worker safety from electrical shock
  • Learn about Industrial GFCI products to take control, remove human error, and overcome weaknesses of training

About the presenters

Mark Pollock, a global product manager at Littelfuse, is responsible for product line strategy for the industrial relay product portfolio. Mark is a member of the Standards Council of Canada on TC18 and TC121/SC121A mirror committees, and a JWG28 subject matter expert for IEC/IEEE since 2011. He is an active member of the IEEE, serving on various standards, conference, and local section executive committees over the last 15 years. Mark holds BSc degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of Saskatchewan and is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada.

Terry Becker, P.Eng., CESCP, IEEE Senior Member, is an independent electrical safety authority/specialist and consultant at TW Becker Electrical Safety Consulting Inc. Terry was the previous owner and visionary of ESPS Electrical Safety Program Solutions Inc, and spent over 10 years growing the company into an industry leading total solutions provider for electrical safety consulting, external electrical safety audits, licensed electrical safety programs, electrical safety consulting related to electrical safety program development and arc flash and shock, and training solutions. Terry brings more than 28 years of experience as an electrical engineer working in both engineering consulting and for large industrial oil and gas corporations.
