The 201 Pump Controls series is an 8-pin, plug-in style, seal-leak detector that senses seal failures on submersible pumps. A microcontroller-based relay monitors the shaft seal of the submersible pump motor. 在密封腔中安装了电阻式探头。如果水泄漏到泵中，探头测得的电阻会降低。当电阻降至灵敏度设定值以下时，装置将跳闸，继电器触点将改变状态。故障清除后，设备将自动复位。
