SP724是一个瞬态电压箝位电路的四方阵列，设计用于抑制ESD及其他瞬态过压现象。 SP724可帮助保护电源电压不超过20伏直流的数据、信号或控制线路上敏感的数字或模拟输入电路。 SP724采用双极SCR/二极管结构，可通过将任一电极的瞬态电压箝位至电源导轨来保护最多四条独立线路。 SP724提供极低的漏泄电流（通常为1nA）和低输入电容（通常为3pF）。 此外，SP724达到IEC 61000-4-2 ESD规范要求（接触放电和空气放电4级）。SP724被连接到敏感输入线路及相关的电源线路。 箝位动作在瞬态脉冲期间执行，当输入线路的电压比V+ 电源电压高一个VBE阈值时（或比V- 电源电压低一个VBE阈值时），将打开二极管并快速触发SCR结构。 因此，只要在工作范围以内，SP724的运行就不会受到不良电源调节或电压波动的影响。
